My name is Hilary, and I am the Director of Children's Services. My job is to make sure that the staff and services that support you are doing the best job possible for you.

I am keen that you, and those caring for you, get to know who I am and how to get in touch with me. At the bottom of this letter is an email address that you can use to communicate with me, ask me questions and share with me any ideas that you have about how we can improve our support to you.

As a child we look after or care leaver, your wellbeing and safety are the most important thing to me and the council, and all the partners we work with every day in relation to children’s services.

I am going to come and meet the Children In Care Council and the Care Leavers' Forum, and I want to put more opportunities in place for each of you to engage with me and the senior team. If you have any ideas about how we do this, please let me know.
