What is Supported Employment?

A service committed to offering you support to access training and work experience, which could lead to paid employment.

What support will I get from Supported Employment?

Work taster days with local employers
Job coach support to help you settle into your new role
Pre-employment support, including confidence-building and basic work skills
Support with job searches and writing your CV
Working interviews with support from our job coach
Access to training courses and work placements
Work together to achieve your goals
Signposting to Ways to Work

Supported Employment is for people aged 18+ with learning disabilities and/or autism, who live in the borough of St Helens.

The purpose of the Local Offer is to enable parents and young people to see more clearly what services are available for children with special educational needs and disabilities in their area, and how to access them.
