What is Supported Employment?

A service committed to offering you support to access training and work experience, which could lead to paid employment.

What support will I get from Supported Employment?

  • Work taster days with local employers 
  • Job coach support to help you settle into your new role
  • Pre-employment support, including confidence-building and basic work skills
  • Support with job searches and writing your CV
  • Working interviews with support from our job coach 
  • Access to training courses and work placements 
  • Work together to achieve your goals
  • Signposting to Ways to Work

How can I find out more about this service and if I am eligible?

Supported Employment is for people aged 18+ with learning disabilities and/or autism, who live in the borough of St Helens.
