Halton Special Free School, in partnership with St Helens local area　

Halton, in partnership with St Helens, is making a bid to support our strategy to meet the needs of our children and young people with special educational needs and disabilities. The proposed new special school will provide high quality education to those children and young people with a primary need of with a primary need of social, emotional and mental health for secondary age children aged 11-16 in need of a more specialist educational setting. The proposed new special free school will be a key partner in the development of a range of strategies and approaches across Halton and St Helens whilst enabling greater choice for children and young people ensuring they can access a high quality education.
